I am diabetic and long periods in the heat affect my sugar levels. There are two other adults and one six year old in our group. Is there any type of service offered so I'm not in the heat waiting in line for me and my group so we may all ride together?

Hi Doris!  Disney is really great at trying to manage guest wait times for their more popular attractions.  However, during peak times, the guest times may exceed 60 minutes, and in the heat, I completely sympathize.  For those with medical conditions, this wait time can be somewhat unbearable.  Disney has created the Guest Assistance Card exactly for these instances.  A GAC is a card that alerts Cast Members at attractions that certain guests require assistance or special accommodations in order to experience the attractions.  Upon arrival at the theme park of your choice, head to Guest Relations and request a GAC.  The Cast Member may ask you questions in relation to your experience at the parks (for example "Would you be using an ECV or a WC?", or "How many guests are in your party?", in order to make sure that you are being given the proper GAC for you.  It always helps to have a note from the doctor explaining your conditon, however, this is not necessary at all.  Please bear in mind that this IS NOT front of the line access, only a means to allow you to experience the attractions in a way that is comfortable for you.

Hope this helps you plan your magical vacation!
