I am diabetic (inject meds at meals & Insulin). Usually I "stay back" & miss a lot of the parks due to the lines, heat dropping my sugar, insulin going bad. Is there anything you can recommend so I dont miss so much tis trip - it is my da

Hi, Terryann!  When you arrive at the first theme park,  you can go to guest services and get a Guest Assistance Card.  The card indicates to cast members at the theme parks what they might be able to do to assist you in achieving a magical vacation experience!

A note from your doctor indicating specifically what you may need would help, but it isn't necessary.  What they can do varies at different attractions.  They may be able to offer you a place to wait inside, where it's cooler, or they might have a seat out of the sun that you can wait in.  Some attractions may be able to allow you entry through the Fast Pass line.

Some things that have helped me include talking to my doctor before I go, so some adjustments can be made in the amount of medication that are necessary.  You can also alternate indoor and outdoor attractions, so you won't be out in the heat the whole day.

I hope you have a wonderful vacation!
