We are going to DHS on 10/6 and have 5 pm ADR at Sci-Fi. Do I need to get in line for Fantasmic immediately after dinner, or is it safe to wait until closer to the show? I would hate to miss it, but less waiting means alot with 2 busy boys!

If you look at the park calendar for October 6 HERE, you will see that there is one showing of Fantasmic, performed at 8:00 p.m. that night. Your dinner at the Sci-Fi should take approximately one hour. Putting you at 6:00. Because early October is in peak season, I think waiting for two hours is probably excessive. My feeling is that if you were in line about an hour in advance, you would be able to get a good seat, and if you were in line 40 minutes in advance, you'd still get in. You can make the waiting much easier on your kids by bringing them some entertainment for this time: Mad Libs, cats cradle, books, or something similar.

Have a great time at the park!
