    Hi Jamie,

We went through this exact dilemma last year!  I let my kids decide.  I told them we could either add on the Water Park fun and more package that would allow them to go to Disney Quest and Typhoon Lagoon, or we could go to the Halloween Party.

They chose Disney Quest.  My kids had a blast!  The only problem is that we were travelling with a two year old, and strollers are not allowed in the building.  It was kind of difficult chasing after her.

We also had time to go to Typhoon Lagoon, so I feel that our decision was worth it.  However, if I had to do it all again, I would probably choose the Halloween Party over Disney Quest.

If your family is really into video games, then I recommend Disney Quest; otherwise, go with the Halloween Party.  After all, the next time you visit may not be during the Halloween Season.

Hope this helps.  Have a magical vacation!
