Fireworks at Magic Kingdom

Is the dessert party better at Magic Kingdom or Epcot. Confused on which one to book

Hi Kim! Oh this is a tough question to answer as I love them both but would probably choose Epcot since Illuminations: Reflections of Earth is my favorite show in all of the parks.

There are pros and cons for both special events. The Fireworks Dessert Party in the Magic Kingdom will offer you excellent views of the castle show as well as seeing up close the descent of Tinker Bell from the castle. The food choices are good for both adults and children and come with a sweet appetite as it is all you can eat. The biggest pro for this party is that you can sit at tables with just your family group.

The Epcot Sparkling Dessert Party is also full of delicious sweet choices but they also offer the adults some sparkling wines to enjoy as well. Finding a seat is far more difficult here and most of the tables are stand up so you can eat but not sit. You have prime viewing of the Illuminations show but could also be in the direction of the firework residue if the wind is blowing toward you.

I honestly can't tell you one is better then the other. It depends on what kind of show you are wishing to see and if you will be in one park or the other on the day you have chosen to set aside for a dessert party. If you have younger children then they might enjoy the Magic Kingdom but both are worth the time and money.
