Hello! What is the deposit you put down when you book a vacation package? Thanks

Hi Keisha, and welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! It’s nice to hear from you again. I was super excited when I saw your question because just yesterday I booked a Walt Disney World Vacation Package for my family! Eeeeeeeek!

Walt Disney World Vacation Packages include accommodations at a Walt Disney World Resort hotel and theme park tickets for your party, and the option of adding the Disney Dining Plan. To book a vacation package, a $200 deposit is currently required, although this amount is subject to change. Packages must be paid in full one month before your check-in date.

I always like to call Walt Disney World Resort Reservations at (407) 939-1936, as they can provide quotes for multiple package combinations, allow you to compare prices based on dates and resorts you’re looking at, and can answer any questions you might have.

Keisha, there are lots of great perks associated with Walt Disney World Vacation packages. My family really enjoys the Disney Dining Plan, and the Magical Extras provide additional discounts and even a round of mini-golf at one of Walt Disney World’s dreamy courses. You’ll also get all the perks of being a Resort Guest, including transportation from Orlando International Airport on Disney’s Magical Express, complimentary MagicBands, access to Extra Magic Hours in the theme parks, and the ability to make your FastPass+ selections 60 days in advance of your check-in date. So much pixie dust!

Have fun doing your planning and dreaming, and please come back and see us if you have further questions!

    Wishing you a magical vacation,
