My departure flight is not until 7pm. Can my family and I stay at the resort until is time to head to the airport?

It's great to see you here today at the Disney Parks Moms Panel. Grecia! I truly understand wanting to get the most out of your Walt Disney World Resort vacation, so let's talk about all the different things you can do until it's time to leave for the airport.

When I was visiting The Most Magical Place On Earth around the holiday season with some of my friends, I also booked a later flight on my departure day because I love to soak up as much Disney as I possibly can. When we checked out of our rooms at the designated check-out time, we still had several hours before we had to catch Disney's Magical Express to the airport, so we were able to leave our luggage with Bell Services at the Front Desk of our Walt Disney World Resort Hotel, and get a Minnie Van straight to Disney's Animal Kingdom to enjoy one last banshee flight on Avatar Flight of Passage. Your departure day is also a great time to finish some last minute shopping at Disney Springs, or explore the grounds of your Resort Hotel! You can also try out a great new restaurant, or enjoy some ice cream on Main Street U.S.A. while you say "See Ya Real Soon" to Cinderella Castle. So to answer your question, yes, you are welcome to stay and enjoy Walt Disney World Resort on your check-out day for as long as you'd like before you head back to the airport.

    Have a magical day, Grecia!
