On our departure day, we have a very early flight out of MCO. What is the earliest Disney Magical Express will pick us up from our resort?

Hello Kathryn, and welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel.

    Disney’s Magical Express
is not only the best way to begin your magical vacation to the Walt Disney World Resort, but it is also the best way to end your visit. The day before your departure, you will receive a transportation notice telling you what time the motorcoach will pick you up for your return trip to Orlando International Airport. Depending on what time of year you are planning to visit can affect your pickup time. Typically, Disney’s Magical Express is scheduled to pick me up 3 hours prior to my scheduled flight time. During the holidays or busier times of the year, your pick up time could be 4 hours before your scheduled flight. Keep in mind, schedules are always subject to change so make sure you refer to your transportation notice when you receive it.

If you are flying a participating airline, you may be able to check your bags before you board the motorcoach using the Resort Airline Check-In Service. This is a complimentary service that operates daily from 5:00 a.m. until noon. If you are not able to use this service or you will be departing before 5:00 a.m. you will need to bring your bags to the motorcoach. Bell Services will be happy to help you get your luggage from your room to the airline check-in or to the motorcoach. Expert tip: I usually call Bell Services and reserve a pickup time for my luggage as soon as I receive the transportation notice from Magical Express. This will leave one less thing for you to worry about during a rushed early morning departure. I hope that helps.

    See ya real soon,
