Hi moms, we have the deluxe dining plan booked for next November, I understand that some items on menus have an additional charge if you order them, do you know which ones and what additional cost is required? Thanks

    Hi Jenna,

Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! I am happy to hear that you will have the Disney Deluxe Dining Plan. This dining plan gives you so much flexibility. We have dined like royalty on this plan!

On the deluxe dining plan, each guest 3-years old and over in your party will receive three meals and two snacks per night of stay along with a resort refillable mug. At lunch and dinner, in addition to your entrée, you will receive an appetizer, dessert and beverage. At buffet-style restaurants, you will receive the full buffet. Before we arrive, we check restaurant menus online. This may sound crazy, but we decide which appetizer, entrée and dessert at each restaurant we want prior to our visit. Making the selections expedites the dining process when we arrive. After all, we have Fast Pass+ rides to do!

Items that are not listed as appetizers or desserts may have an additional charge if you cannot make substitutions at the restaurant. If you check the dinner menu for Be Our Guest, for example, you will see that the menu is fairly straightforward with appetizers, entrées and desserts listed along with cost. A signature restaurant, like the California Grill, has a more extensive dinner menu with items not listed as appetizers.

Jenna, when we arrive to any restaurant, the cast member who serves us explains what is included on our dining plan. If in doubt, we ask! Remember to check the number of meal credits required for each restaurant and track your meals during your stay.

    Happy dining!

Magic, memories and Minnie Mouse hugs,
    Donyell
