    Kathryn from CA Asked

Hello! Deciding between flying overnight and arriving at MCO at 5am or flying in at 5PM. If we fly in early is there a way to check in early? We want that extra day in the park- would you recommend it?

    Hey, Kathryn!

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! Thank you for this wonderful question and my answer is, "whenever you can have more time in Walt Disney World Resort theme park you should do it!"

By your question, I assume you are staying at a Walt Disney World Resort hotel. You may check-in early in person (at 6:00 a.m.) or through Online Resort Check-In. Official check-in times vary depending on the Resort and your room will be ready then. Once you check-in, you may leave any luggage, computer cases or backpacks with bell services and they will take them to your room. With Disney's Magical Express your luggage delivered to your hotel by their services. Please stop by the front desk to make sure your MagicBands work correctly before heading to the theme parks.

Disney Dad Tip: Arriving early with no room presents one small issue: what to do until the theme parks open. I suggest scheduling an advance dining reservation at one of the Resort hotels or better yet, a theme park restaurant. Getting into the theme parks for an early breakfast allows you to take photos of certain theme park areas with low crowds. Just think, a picture with Cinderella Castle and no one else in it...how enchanted! You must have a valid theme park ticket to dine in the theme park restaurants but not the Resort hotel restaurants.

I hope this information helps you plan the best Disney vacation.

Kathryn, enjoy making many Magical Memories!
