    Haley from TX Asked

We have decided to meet a family friend at the airport for dinner when we arrive. This means we will not be boarding the Magical Express directly from our flight. Maybe 2 hours later. Will our tagged bags still head to our resort room?

Hello Haley! Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel.

With your luggage and travel taken care of the moment you arrive at Orlando International Airport, Disney's Magical Express begins your Walt Disney World Resort with that Endless Magic that Guests have come to expect from all things Disney.

When you arrive at Orlando International Airport, all of your luggage marked with Disney's Magical Express luggage tags will be pulled and stored before sent to the luggage carousel in the Airport. This luggage is stored until Guests Check-In with Disney's Magical Express at Level B1. Your luggage will not be packed and transported until you are about to board your motorcoach.

This process ensures that baggage does not get sent to Walt Disney World Resort before the Guests are on there way.

I recommend that you pack a travel bag with everything that you will need for your 2-hour airport visit, the travel to Walt Disney World Resort and a few hours between when you Check-In and when your luggage arrive in your Resort Hotel Room.

As a Guest staying at a Walt Disney World Resort Hotel, you have the added benefit of the Online Resort Check-In Service up to 60 days in advance of your vacation to expedite the Check-In process.

    Happy Travels!
