how do you decide which park to go to each day? This will be my first trip to Disney and I don't want to miss out on anything. And is there any particular dining experience you think I should definitely do? I already booked chef Mickey and no kids r coming

Hello, Amy! I'm sure you must be getting very excited about your first Walt Disney World vacation. Any day at Walt Disney World is a good day, so you are in for a treat!

Personally, I try to visit Magic Kingdom Park on Tuesday, Wednesday, or Thursday (or all three!) instead of the weekend. The weekends tend to be a bit busier than weekdays from locals visiting, quick weekend trips when kids are out of school, etc. and I think most people tend to head straight for Magic Kingdom Park. If you happen to visit during a holiday weekend, this can be especially helpful to remember.

You may want to plan the rest of your schedule around the advance dining reservations or FastPass+ selections that you are able to secure, especially if there is an experience that you are really excited about trying out.

It looks like you are already off to a great start with planning your dining reservations, Amy! Chef Mickey's is a wonderful Character Dining location, and is located in one of my absolute favorite Disney Resort hotels. The Wave...of American Flavors, also located at Disney's Contemporary Resort, is another great dining location because the food is so delicious. The herb salt seasoned beef tenderloin is reason enough for me to plan a Walt Disney World vacation!

I also really enjoy dining at Be Our Guest Restaurant at Magic Kingdom. There's nothing more exciting than dining in the Beast's enchanted castle! Advance dining reservations are highly recommended for this experience, so if you feel like this would be a great option for your upcoming visit, I'd suggest making a reservation as soon as you are able to.

I hope that your first visit to Walt Disney World is full of many magical memories. If you have any additional questions, please do not hesitate to stop back by the Moms Panel, Amy. Happy planning!
