We're going in December and have reservations at the Tea Party @ GF and Chef Mickey's. We're staying at Pop Century. Since buses don't run between the resorts, can we take a bus to the MK and walk to the GF and the Contemporary? Thanks! You're the best!

Because the Disney bus system does not run between the resorts, the way to get around is to use the theme parks as transportation "hubs" or transfer points. From the Pop Century resort, you're absolutely right that you should take the bus to the Magic Kingdom, using it as your "hub" for Chef Mickey's at the Contemporary and the Tea Party at the Grand Floridian.

However, there is no walking path that you could take to get to the Grand Floridian from the Magic Kingdom (even though if there were one, it would be close enough to walk). You need to transfer from your bus to either monorail or the Grand Floridian boat launch. Both these forms are transportation are quite near the bus depot.

There IS a walking path from the Magic Kingdom to the Contemporary. You could walk. Or, if you wanted to make a grand entrance, you could take the monorail to the Contemporary as well.
