Hi, Deborah. Tx 4 answring my ?. Are you saying we should line up at 6pm for the 9pm Fantasmic? We have always done the dinner pkg and have reservs again (5:30) but other Panelists have said forget it. Would like to get a Kitchen Sink instead w/ xtra time.

    Hi there, Karen!

Thank you for checking back n.

Fantasmic! is crazy-popular. It pulls in capacity crowds at every show, to be sure, particularly during high travel seasons. And there are people who will queue up a hour prior to the theater being open to ensure that they get what they feel are the best seats in the house. While arguably every seat in the house is good, you're likely to be off to the side or further toward the back the later you arrive.

Certainly, you will want to arrive no fewer than 90 minutes prior to the start of the show. That will ensure you a seat (and people are turned away if the theater fills to capacity prior to the start of the show).

i found out quite recently that, depending on the crowd levels, Cast Members reserve the right to disallow the saving of seats, so I don't want to say that you can just send someone to hold a given number of seats (and if I guided you in that direction earlier, it's because I didn't have that information handy!).

You will need to decide how badly you want to (a) sit towards the front; and (b) see the show altogether. Arriving any closer to time than an hour may run you the risk of missing out on the attraction, and that would be really disappointing. Were it me, I would probably try to queue up either before the theater opened or arrive just as it opened. I'd pack some little things for the children to do in a bag and wait out the time with entertainment, knowing that the show is SO worth the time.

Good luck - please let me know how it turns out!

    See you later, celebrator,
    -Deborah B.
