Dear Moms~ I plan on coming to Disneyworld in July 2019. Would you be able to tell me if there is a fastpass option when going to Typhoon Lagoon? I have never been to this waterpark and was hoping there would be a way to avoid long lines. Thank you!

    Hello Kristin!

Thanks for stopping by.  My family loves the Disney Water Parks, and generally ensures that we include at least one visit on each vacation.  Personally, I think you are a planning expert for considering adding a visit, particularly during a July vacation!  Crush 'n' Gusher is an all-time favorite in this family!  At this time, the Disney Water Parks do not have Fast Pass + options, however, I do have some tips for minimizing your wait times.  First, arrive early!  This is a critical strategy for my family.  We generally align our arrival time with the water parks' opening, and plan on being at the entrance approximately thirty minutes before.  In my experience, the first two hours after opening enjoy low to moderate crowds.  Next, as you likely know, Florida summers often tend to have afternoon thunderstorms.  For safety reasons, when lighting is in the vicinity, the water park attractions will temporarily close.  However, very often, if you are willing to wait it out while enjoying a snack or stroll through the gift shop, you will be rewarded with low crowds, as many guests tend to exit all together.  Finally, I suggest planning your day as best as possible.  For example, if you know where you would like to secure some lounge chairs, and head directly there and to your first attraction rather than exploring the park, you will likely get quite a few slides and other attractions in before the park gets very crowded.

I hope you have an amazing visit to Disney's Typhoon Lagoon!
