Dear Krysten, can we take water thermos into the park to mix with baby formula or is better to take just bottleled water and then heat it in the baby care center¡. thanks

    Hi Fernando!

Thanks for reaching out to me with your Disney parks planning question! I first took my son to Walt Disney World Resort when he was 14-months old and almost done with bottles, but we still needed a few to make it through our Disney Days. I was just like you in not knowing what to do: I didn't want to overpack but I also didn't want to be stuck in a pinch and not be prepared.

I have great news, Fernando. Yes, you are more than welcome to bring in all of the outside food, snacks and beverages that your little Mouseketeer or anyone else in your family may need for the day. This includes a thermos of ice cold or super hot water to make a baby bottle. The only exceptions Disney asks is no glass containers (small glass baby food jars are fine) and no outside alcohol.

If I were you, I would bring my own hot water just-in-case. I was at Walt Disney World in May with three of my best mom friends and our collective five preschoolers. One of the smallest friends got hangry (hungry + angry) and needed a bottle right as we boarded a boat on Pirates of the Caribbean! So if you have your own water you can be prepared for emergencies. But if you don't bring your own water, you'll be able to ask for complimentary cups of cold or hot water from all Quick-Service dining locations. (Seek out the locations that serve hot coffee as they'll have hot water at the ready at all times.) Disney's Baby Care Centers also have complimentary filtered water, so you won't need to purchase a bottle of water every time you need to make a bottle.

I hope this helped, Fernando, and We'll See You Real Soon!
