Dear DMP, my wife and I have reservations for Palos for brunch on our upcoming adventure. I wanted to know is it okay for my wife to wear her black flip flops with her dress or does she need dress shoes?

If you are arriving between now and March 31, please click here for more information.

Welcome back aboard the Disney Parks Moms Panel, Nicholas!

I am excited to hear that you and your wife will be enjoying brunch at Palo when you sail with Captain Mickey.  It is my favorite dining experience onboard!  I love the antipasto bar and enjoy relaxing for a couple of hours with all that delectable Italian cuisine.

This elegant brunch is most enjoyable when everyone dining is dressed to impress.  The dress code for adult exclusive dining does prohibit guests from wearing flip-flops to brunch or dinner.  I would recommend your wife add dress shoes to her packing list for brunch.  Dress sandals would be appropriate to pair with her outfit if they would be something you may wear to a spring or summer wedding.

After you enjoy brunch at Palo, relax in the Rainforest Room at Senses Spa and Salon or in the Quiet Cove Pool.  These are the spaces onboard my husband and I love to enjoy after a big meal!

Have fun making memories together onboard, Nicholas!  I hope you cruise back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel if you have any additional questions before you set sail.

    "Sea" ya real soon!  Angie
