Dear Disney Moms, Hi again, Please advise if the pastries purchased in Venellope's can be taken off of the Dream to give as treats to family who were not lucky enough to cruise at this time. As always, thank you very much.

    Hello, Barbara!

It's so wonderful welcoming you back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! I'm sure excitement is rising as you prepare for your upcoming cruise aboard the Disney Dream! I'm thrilled you're planning a visit to Vanellope's Sweets and Treats! My family and I were recently on the Disney Dream and couldn't wait to try the delicious desserts from there!

Unfortunately, U.S. Customs will not allow you to take the pastries, fudge or other perishable items from Vanellope's Sweets and Treats off the ship with you when you debark. Your idea of bringing treats back to family members unable to join you during this voyage is so thoughtful. I called the wonderful team at Disney Cruise Line and confirmed that you are allowed to bring non-perishable treats (still sealed in the original packaging) off the ship, though! Please keep that in mind as you visit the shop looking for "sweet" souvenirs. If you're unsure whether a specific item is allowed to be taken off the ship, I suggest stopping by the Guest Services Desk and asking before debarkation day. The Cast Members at Guest Services will be more than happy to help you while onboard!

Thank you for sailing by and asking this excellent question! I hope you enjoy your cruise and "Sugar Rush" on the high seas!
