    Sue from LA Asked

Is there a deadline to add another guest to our room. We have 3 in our room now.

    Hi Sue,

Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! I love a vacation countdown and it looks like you are only a month away from your visit to Walt Disney World. How exciting! I have often had to adjust my reservations, adding family members who decide they too want to experience the magic. Of course I love bringing as many friends and family members along as possible. It just makes the experience even more magical to be able to share it with the people that I love. Now that I have an adult son, sometimes he doesn’t know if he will be able to join us until it gets down to the wire. I am grateful that I can give him the extra time he needs to decide if he is able to come along for the fun.

Luckily it is easy to add an additional guest to resort reservations as well as vacation packages, if you are staying in a room that can accommodate the additional person. If you have purchased a vacation package that includes a Disney Dining Plan, you will want to make the changes to your reservation at least 7 days before your vacation start date. If you have a resort only reservation, you will need to add the additional guest no later than 3 days prior to your arrival date. If you booked your stay directly with Walt Disney World, you can go to your My Disney Experience account and select the “Change Reservation” option next to your reservation information. You can then add the additional guest.  You can always call (407) 934-7639 to make those modifications as well.

Please stop back by if we can help answer any more of your vacation questions. I wish you an absolutely magical vacation next month!
