Does the DDP work according to how many nights you are staying or how many park tickets you have purchased? I had assume the latter, but now am doubtful...

Hi there Meghan! It sounds like you're making plans to enjoy a delicious Disney vacation!

The Disney Dining Plans are based on the number of nights of your stay at a Disney resort hotel. So, if you would like to purchase theme park tickets for a lower number of visits than your overnight accommodations, you can do that! Be sure to keep in mind that the Disney table-service restaurants are quite popular and book quickly. So, you'll want to make your advanced dining reservations online or by calling (407) WDW-DINE prior to leaving home for your trip!

Lastly, I'd highly recommend spending at least one day at your resort's pool/ hot tub or enjoying some of the other amazing amenities available to you when staying onsite. The average theme park guest can rack up several miles on their sneakers over the course of their trip. Some down time really helps keep you feeling rejuvenated and ready for the next big adventure!

Thanks so much for visiting us here at the Walt Disney World Moms Panel and feel free to send more questions my way in the days leading up to your visit with Mickey Mouse and Pals!
