We have the DDP and staying 6n7d and I was woundering if we only get meals for the six nights or if we will get it for all 7d? Our plane doesn't depart that night till 7:30. Do I need to pay meals on the last day in the parks? We'll be there all day.

    Hello fellow Nebraskan!

The number of meals you receive through the Disney Dining Plan is determined by the number of nights you are staying at a Disney resort.  While at Walt Disney World, you will be able to use your dining credits in the order you prefer.  For example, one day you might only use your table service credits, and another day you may only use your quick service dining credits.

By looking through your entire trip, you may be able to come up with a plan that stretches out your credits for the entire vacation.  And don't worry about losing your dining credits on your departure day; they are good for the entire day (they expire at midnight on your departure day).

Our experience has been that we have often had a significant number of snack credits left on our last day, so we have a big shopping trip for treats (fudge!) that we bring home with us. If you visit www.disneyfoodblog.com and do a search for "best dining plan snacks," you can get a few ideas of how to use your snacks credits well. There are quite a few snacks that I'd actually consider a nice lunch.

Thank you for the question; please let us know if you have any more.  Have a magical trip!
