I have the DDP for 3 nights with 3 adults and 1 child(16). How are the DDP credits loaded on the magic bands? Is everyone in charge of their own credits on their respective magic band or do all participants have access to all the credits? Thanks

    Hi Wendy!

I love to add a Disney Dining Plan to our Walt Disney World Resort vacation because it is so nice knowing that the majority of our dining expenses are paid in advance of our trip! Your MagicBands will have access to all of the entitlements linked to your My Disney Experience account, including your theme park tickets, Walt Disney World Resort hotel reservation and FastPass+ reservations. It will also give you access to all of the dining plan meal credits on your Walt Disney World Resort hotel reservation.

My favorite thing about Disney dining plan is that you get so much flexibility in how you use your credits. Everyone on your Walt Disney World Resort hotel reservation will have access to all of your dining credits. So when you family has a meal at table service restaurants, only one MagicBand will need to be scanned to use table service dining credits for everyone's meals. At quick service restaurants, you could use the strategy that my family uses where my husband and kids find a table in the restaurant and I order everyone's meals and pay for them with my MagicBand using our dining credits. Plus, since all of your credits are available from the time you check-in until midnight on the day you check-out, you can choose to enjoy any combination of meals for each day of your trip that best fits in your vacation schedule.

Be sure to take a look at your dining receipts as the remaining number of meal credits will be printed at the bottom, which is a great way to keep track of the credits you have left to use! T-T-F-N, ta ta for now!
