DD(10) & I will be @ WDW 8/6 - 8/11. Planning surprises for DD's birthday (she'll be 11 on trip). The 1 thing she really wants to do is horseback ride. Does anyone know who much it costs? What is the easiest way to get there from MK-WL looks huge!

    Hi Cynthia,

First of all, HAPPY BIRTHDAY to your princess!  I'm sure you are busy making sure that this is a celebration to remember.  Fort Wilderness has guided horseback rides for guests 9 and older who are at least 48 inches tall.  The ride last approximately 45 minutes and costs around $46 per person. (Of course, prices are subject to change.)

To get there from Magic Kingdom, take the boat to the Fort Wilderness marina.  Go to the Settlement Depot and take one of the buses to Outpost Depot. For reservations, call (407)939-7529.

Hope this helps.  Have a magical vacation!
