My DD wants me to go to DW with her family as her husband there for convention. If they purchase the dining plan-which I understand everyone has to participate-can I use her DH dining plan since he will not be using it-I will be in a separate room. Thks

    Hello Ann!

Let me make sure I understand your question.  Your daughter and her family will be on the dining plan and you will not be.  You are wondering if you would be able to use some of your daughter's dining credits.  Did I get that right?  If so, the answer is yes!

The way it will work for your daughter (and everyone in her party) is all the dining credits will be pooled together and loaded to their room keys.  As they eat their dinners, snacks, etc. your daughter will use her room key (only one room key required) to have the appropriate credits deducted.  As long as your daughter uses her room key and her credits to cover your meal you will be fine.

Our family actually did this on our vacation in August.  It worked out well as my daughter and I tend to share meals at times and we had a few extra credits.  My mom and her husband were able to use our credits without a problem when they dined with us.  So it really doesn't matter if your son-in-law is present or not.

    Happy Dining!!  Diane
