My DH and DD and myself will be visiting WDW very soon. We were wondering if staying in a villa would be too big for only 3 people. What would be the next best option for us. Would like to stay in a homelike room as opposed to like a hotel room. THX!

    Natalia:

I don't think a one-bedroom villa is too large for three people--especially if you're looking for a cozier feel than what you might find in a hotel room...

If you like sleek interiors, go for Bay Lake Towers. You can't beat the memories created from its views of Bay Lake or the Magic Kingdom, nor its proximity to the Magic Kingdom and its monorail service to Epcot.  For walking access to Epcot or Disney's Hollywood Studios, consider Beach Club or Boardwalk Villas. They also provide the fun of the Boardwalk nightly.

If you're adventurous, you might want to consider a cabin at Fort Wilderness. It provides a double bed and bunk beds in a separate bedroom plus a full kitchen and living area with a Murphy bed. Our family loves grilling on its deck.

Your most economical option is a family suite at All-Star Music. It has a bedroom with a bed and a living area with a sofa, chair and ottoman that convert to beds. It also has two bathrooms and a kitchenette. It certainly is not as comfortable as a villa, but if you're on a budget, may be the perfect fit!

    Wishing y'all a magical vacation!

My family of 6 appreciates Disney's value! Although Ft. Wilderness is our second home, we've enjoyed the resorts for business, reunions and romantic getaways. For me, Disney also means dining: last count, I'd eaten at 55 restaurants around the World! Learn More About Whitney
