DH, DD (4) & I, will be heading to disney sept. 1-5th. Could you explain how the disney quick service works. im a little confused with it. Also, what are some must places to eat at?

    Hi Brandon,

I'm so glad you're going to give the Disney Dining Plan a try!  Because of its flexibility, cost-efficiency, and ease of use, my family includes a Disney Dining Plan in our vacation packages as often as possible.

If you're redeeming a quick service credit for breakfast, you are entitled to one entree and one non-alcoholic beverage.  For lunch or dinner, you would receive an entree, a non-alcoholic beverage, and a dessert for each Disney Dining Plan quick service credit.  Snack credits can be redeemed for any item that bears the distinctive pink Disney Dining Plan snack credit symbol.  These are prominently displayed on menus at restaurants throughout the park.  If you are ever in doubt as to whether an item qualifies as a Disney Dining Plan snack, just ask the friendly Cast Members working at that restaurant or snack cart.

You can use your credits at any time between the time when you check in and midnight on the day you check out of your Disney resort.

Here are my favorite quick service dining establishments at Walt Disney World:

Columbia Harbour House & Cosmic Ray's Starlight Cafe (Magic Kingdom)

    Flame Tree BBQ (Animal Kingdom)

    Sunshine Seasons (Epcot)

Min & Bill's Dockside Diner (Disney's Hollywood Studios)

If you have any further questions about using the Disney Dining Plan, don't hesitate to post them!
