1st DCL on Fantasy in 2wks. We want to leave kids (2.5y,5y) on ship (nursery/Oceaneer) when we do excursion at port. Will they be fed if there over lunch or breakfast? How long to get off/on ship at port for time to book nursery in our planning? Thank you!

Welcome aboard, Jenny! You're going to enjoy every moment of your cruise on the Disney Fantasy, and of course your experiences in port!

I'm glad you're looking to book some time now for your littlest cruiser at It's A Small World Nursery, as times do fill up. Your Port Adventure times are actually the meeting times for your adventure. You'll meet your group and guide on the ship itself and walk off together to begin your adventure. So, you can plan to drop your little ones at the Club and Nursery about 15 to 20 minutes prior to your meeting time to allow yourself enough time to get them settled and walk to your onboard meeting spot to get signed in. Then, I'd say to add another half hour or so onto your Port Adventure's approximate time when booking the nursery. Of course, you can let them know you'll be on an adventure and if you're a few minutes late due to the adventure running behind, they'll know why.

Lunch is served in the Club and Lab, so your five-year old can enjoy lunch with some new friends. The nursery does not serve meals, however parents are welcome to leave snacks and food with the counselors for their children to eat while there. There will be snacks like apple juice, water and crackers available, but if you want your little one to have a full meal, plan to pick up something at Cabanas or order from Room Service to take down to the nursery when you drop him or her off. The nursery asks that it be something like a sandwich (but no cooked meat, only cold cuts), fruit, cereal or dry snacks. No nut products are allowed. Chat with them about any other specifics maybe the day before to ensure that what you pick out from the buffet you are able to leave.

I hope those details help in your planning, Jenny! Enjoy your cruise!
