90 days until our dreams come true! I am desperate for my disney vaca NOW. What can I do to get ready, prepare, keep busy until the time has come? Already made ADR, planned itinerary, made mousekeeping envelopes. What else can I do in the meantime? THANKS!

Hi, Gayle!  I know I'm getting closer to my next vacation when I find myself running over to the mall to check out the Disney Store a little too frequently!  When everyone in the store stops what they're doing to yell, "Anna!" like they used to do for Norm on Cheers, then I know it's almost time for me to go on vacation!

I like to do things like write up daily itinerary for my girls - sort of like what they give you on a cruise ship to outline your daily activities.  I'll browse through some clipart to jazz up the page, and I'll put in some trivia about a movie or a character to make the page more interesting.  Sometimes, I'll put an easy seek and find puzzle or something there to give them something to do while we eat breakfast!

You can start getting toiletries ready.  I like to keep a bag with toiletries that I travel with ready at all times.  I keep everything in there that the family would need, and then make sure before vacation to check expiration dates on cold medicines and ibuprofen.  I also take the time to add supplies that may have gotten used before, like band-aids or Shout! wipes.

Have you booked your Magical Express service?  You could do that!  And something else we like to do as a family is spend our last few Friday nights at home watching Disney movies.  I might even try to make a Disney themed snack as a special treat!

And, of course, keep coming back here to see us!

I hope the rest of the time passes quickly for you!  At least you are able to do a double digit dance!  Shake it, girl!  Let the family know how excited you are!
