7 days till our WDW Vacation! Any last minutes tips/things to do before our vacation. We will be taking the Magical Express, so how does that work?! Thank you!

    Hello Janice!
In just seven days you will be whisked via Disney's Magical Express to your most amazing vacation ever! You should have received Magical Express info and luggage tags in the mail. Your first decision is "do I use the yellow luggage tags, or not? If you choose to use the tags, once you check your bag at your airport you will not see your bag again until it magically appears in your room! This is a great perk unless you think you will need your luggage right away. It can take up to three hours for your bags to meet up with you at your resort hotel. If you prefer you can leave the tags off and handle your bags yourself. When you land at the airport take the shuttle to the main terminal. Once there you will be on Level 3. You will need to take the elevators or escalators down to the Disney’s Magical Express Welcome Center which is located on Side B, Level 1, Ground Transportation.  There will be lots of signs directing you to the Magical Express.  This is where you will get to first use your MagicBands! A quick touch of your band will grant you entrance to the queue for your motorcoach.  A short ride on the Magical Express Bus and you will be at your Resort and ready to start your vacation!

Here is my last minute tip: take some time in every park and resort to breath in the Magic. There is no way to do it all on a single trip, so don't be afraid to slow down and cherish this time with your family.

    See ya real soon!

Meet the Panelist: Anne, Iowa

I’m Anne, a native Iowan, wife, mother, and grandmother. For me, a major part of the fun of a Disney trip is the planning. I have traveled to the Disney Parks in multiple stages of my life, including as a daughter, sister, aunt, mother and grandmother. While I can’t pick my funniest Disney memory – either my 70-year-old mother on The Twilight Zone Tower of Terror or my 4-year-old grandson on Dinosaur – I am thrilled to be able to help other Disney guests plan their adventures.
