36 days!! When we r there want to scope out resorts for next time. Coming December 2013 with grandparents. Good golf course? Rent clubs? Thinking GF 2 rooms but what would be cheaper resorts great for older guests who won't want to be at parks all day?

Hi Danelle! Disney does indeed have enough to offer all age groups making this a great family vacation destination.  For many years my family held family reunions there over the Thanksgiving holidays and I will cherish some of those memories forever.

PIcking a resort is always tough as there are so many things to consider.  My mother loves the Boardwalk area and we usually try to book a room in one of the three resorts located there: Beach, Yacht, and Boardwalk.  We pick this area because it is a five minute walk to Epcot where you can walk around and visit the World Showcase, shop, and have numerous dining options. Grandparents would find plenty to keep them busy and happy while the rest of the family scoots to the parks.  It is also just a boat ride away from the Hollywood Studios which makes it close to two parks and easy bus access to the other two, Magic Kingdom and Animal Kingdom. The Grand Floridian is a beautiful location as well with a relaxing atmosphere. In the moderate range I suggest the Port Orleans French Quarter as it is serene and a boat ride from Downtown Disney where lots of activities and dining are possible for those not in the parks.

Disney has great golf courses with the most known being the Palm and the Magnolia. Check out the golf information area on the website by clicking HERE. You can read about the golf courses, lessons, rentals, and anything else for the sport while at Disney.  My husband has rented clubs and shoes many times as we don't like to drag his down for vacation and he has always been very pleased. Many resorts offer taxi service so ask about that when you check in.
