Dining on deck

On days that we are at Port will dinner rotations still be available on the ship once we return? Should we eat dinner at Castaway Cay/Bahamas before returning to the ship?

    Hi there, Amanda!

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel!  With an upcoming Disney Cruise Line vacation approaching, I know you are excited for all the fun in the sun you will have!  With a variety of activities onboard, sailing with Captain Mickey is sure to please everyone in your group!

No need to worry about eating before getting back onboard after your day at port!  Most “all aboard” times are before the main dinner seating time, so you will be back on the ship with plenty of time to get there.  The main dinner service is scheduled around 5:45PM and the second seating is at 8:00PM.  You are always given “buffer” time to be seated, so if you are there within 30 minutes, you can still enjoy a full dining experience.  But perhaps you have way too much fun in the sun and once you get back onboard you realize you don’t feel like rushing to make your scheduled dinner service, there are other dining options!  You can visit Cabanas for a seated dinner, grab something from the snack food stations (pizza, sandwiches, salads, etc.) or even order in Room Service!  Lots of options to choose from!

If you haven’t yet, you will want to start exploring all the Port Adventures available for your ports of call.  The excursions available through Disney Cruise Line are fantastic and take all the planning away from you!  You just show up and enjoy yourself!  Plus, they will ensure that you make it back to the ship on time so you can make that dinner service!

I know you will have an incredible vacation with many magical memories made onboard and onshore!

    Happy Sailing!
