We have 5 days of no exp tickets but will have a 2 yr old coming with us, do we need a ticket/wristband for her? Do we need to change our tickets in for wristbands? Wristbands are new to me and I am not sure how they work or how to get them. thanks!

    Hi Barb!

Thank you for stopping by the Disney Parks Moms Panel! Two-year-olds are really fun to take to Walt Disney World. I still have fond memories of the joy on my two-year-old's face as she saw each Disney character and soared through the sky on  Dumbo the Flying Elephant. As long as your princess is under 3 on the 1st day of your vacation, she does not need a ticket or MagicBand. Sometimes kids like to wear the MagicBands for fun, so you are welcome to request one for her to wear, but it is optional.

Guests who stay at Walt Disney Resort World Resort hotels will receive a MagicBand. You need to have a My Disney Experience account. Please visit the My Disney Experience Frequently Asked Questions page and this will hopefully answer questions you have about MagicBands and FastPass+. You can enter your ticket number on the site as well, so it is connected to your MagicBand. This way you have less things to keep track of while on vacation. I remember bringing a stroller, diaper bag filled with snacks, change of clothes, etc. So to lighten your load, your MagicBand will serve as your ticket, room key, and has the option of room charging privileges with just one touch! The technology is simply amazing.

If you have any other questions, please come back and visit us! I hope your family has a magical, fantastical vacation!
