11 days to go...My son will be doing the Pirate Adventure at GF. It runs 9:30 to 11:30 and lunch is provided. Any suggestions for counter service at the monorail resorts for parents, little sister and grandparents. Will it be too early to find lunch?

Hi, Susan!  For a counter service meal at the Grand Floridian, you can go to the Gasparilla Grill.  Breakfast is served until 11:00 a.m. then switches to the lunch menu.   You can eat inside, or if it is a nice day, you can sit outside by the marina and enjoy the lovely views!   Inside the Grand Floridian is a beautiful lobby with shops and even a mini-sofa and TV where little sis can sit and rest while waiting for her big brother!

If it is a nice day, follow the walkway over to the Polynesian.  You can check out this beautiful tropical resort and even relax on the beach!   If you prefer to eat here, you can go to Captain Cooks where breakfast is served until 10:30 a.m. then switches to lunch, a better option if you want to eat your lunch early.  Again, there is indoor and outdoor seating.

Between the 2 resorts, there is a lot to see!   The 2 hours is going to go by very quickly.  Enjoy!
