    Linda from AZ Asked

how many days does it take to go through the entire park?

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel, Linda!

I believe what you are asking is how long it would take to 'do everything' there is to offer at the Walt Disney World Resort. I am sadly afraid neither myself nor anyone I know would be able to answer this question. With so much to experience between  four Theme Parks, two Water Parks, multiple Resort Hotels, and several shopping and entertainment destinations - I do not think there is an individual out there who has 'done it all'. Myself and many of my fellow panelists have ‘Disney Wish Lists’ or ‘Disney Bucket Lists’. I always try to do one or more new things during my visits, along with my favorites I just cannot miss!

Even though we can’t do it all on vacation, I do have a set length of time I normally visit The Walt Disney World Resort with my family – usually 7-9 days. This typically includes three days at Magic Kingdom Park, two to three days at Epcot, one to two days at Disney’s Hollywood Studios, and one day at Disney’s Animal Kingdom Theme Park. We are still sad when it is time to leave, but with this time frame we can usually experience most attractions, shows, fireworks, and parades. This is what works well for our family, however you can still have an amazing trip in less time – and other families will stay for several weeks. Before your visit, familiarize yourself with the attractions and entertainment and pick a few you can’t miss. You can make FastPass+ selections 30 day in advance (60 if staying at a Walt Disney World Resort hotel) for those events on the top of your to do list and enjoy those attractions with shorter wait times.

Please come back and visit us if you need any additional planning assistance!

Meet the Panelist: Rachel, Wisconsin

Hi, I’m Rachel! I am a “boy mom” to two rowdy little men at home and married to my high school sweetheart. I am fortunate enough that my prince charming loves all things Disney just as much as I do! For me, planning a trip to Walt Disney World can be just as magical as being there. It brings our family together as we dream, plan, and count down the days. I would be honored to help plan your visit and share in your family’s very own magic! Learn More About Rachel
