Thank you for your family’s service, Claudia! I sincerely appreciate what military persons do for us. I read that you are looking to take advantage of the Military Salute tickets, but I hope you will take advantage of a few other options, too!

You can purchase Military Salute tickets either from your local military ticket office, or the attractions desk at the Shades of Green Resort, located on Walt Disney World Property, very near to Disney’s Polynesian Resort. You can also take a peek at the current special offers, where you will find a military room discount, which you can add to your room, as well as opting for a Military price on Memory Maker, the must-have PhotoPass package for unlimited downloads on all your PhotoPass pictures, attraction photos, videos and Magic Shots. All together, those three offers are a great money saver! If I am on a budget during a visit, I like to do the less-expensive activities, like the free walking games Sorcerers of the Magic Kingdom, Pirates Adventure and purchasing some trading pins at MousePinsOnline.com and trading with all the Cast Members. It’s loads of fun for only a few dollars in advance.

I also stick to Quick-Service restaurants and ask for complimentary water cups at all walk-up counters. Best of all, enjoy your moment and a day at your resort. There are lots of crowd-engaging activities on your home resort activity calendar (ask for it upon check-in) to keep you busy and your wallet still. Please return to ask me another question; I adore helping families find more magic than a Fairy Godmother! ~ Lindsey P
