We have 4 days but only 3 evenings & want to do all the evening activities. Is it possible for us to see Rivers at 6:15 then make it to JBJB for 8:30/8:00 park closing? By bus or only Minnie Vans? Also how long to get from MK to HS at 10am by bus

Hey there, Alicia! Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel.

I’m so excited you are visiting during my favorite time of the yEAR; the Holidays! No one does Christmas like the Walt Disney World Resort. I hope you’re ready for a jolly holiday with Mickey!

Alicia, rule of thumb is to allow at least 90-minutes of travel time between destinations. The resort really is huge, and you don’t want to feel rushed during your vacation. That being said, I completely understand wanting to experience all the magic during your visit.

You might be able to enjoy both Rivers of Light at Disney’s Animal Kingdom then rush on to catch Jingle Bell, Jingle BAM! at Disney’s Hollywood Studios. I would highly recommend using the Minnie Van service to save you some time and steps in between. And you might have to miss the ending of one show and miss the beginning of the next. But if you really want to catch at least some of both, that might be your best bet. If you choose to only do one, it’s a great excuse to plan another visit soon!

To get some travel time estimates, use the My Disney Experience mobile app, search for an attraction, then use the Get Directions tool. This will give you some transportation options, turn by turn directions, as well as some travel time estimates that will help you as you plan your visit.

I hope this information was useful. If you have any additional questions, you know where to find us!

    Wishing you a magical day,
