My 180 days for ADRs is coming up in 17 days. I am hoping to get a Candlelight Processional dining package when they open up later on for breakfast at Akershus. Should I go ahead and make an ADR for Akershus breakfast, or wait for the CP packages to open?

    Hi, Rachelle!

Welcome back! I hope you are getting excited for your advanced dining reservation booking window to open. Mine opens next week, so I am right there with you on getting all my Donald Ducks in a row.

I highly recommend going ahead and booking your breakfast at Akershus! Once the Candlelight Processional Dining Packages are released you can book a new reservation under the dining package. When you do this, a notification box on the website will pop up letting you know you already have a dining reservation booked during the same timeframe. The notification will prompt you to select "cancel existing reservation for new one," or "keep existing reservation." It's really a great feature for allowing you to modify an existing reservation in one easy step.

One of my top tips for increasing your chances of getting your preferred dining experiences is to create a dining priority list with consideration to those high-demand locations, like Akershus. You'll probably have to book your reservations out of order of your vacation dates and that's ok. Get your must-do's booked first!

I would also look into adding a Disney Dining Plan to your vacation package. This is a great way to save on your dining costs. The best part, Candlelight Processional Dining Packages are included in most of the available Disney Dining Plans.

I hope you find this information helpful in your planning, Rachelle! Please do not hesitate to reach out to me with any additional questions you may have. I am here to help make your vacation magical.
