Our 60 day window for Fast Passes is here! Can I buy 5 day tickets now, book fast passes, then decide to upgrade to 8 day passes a week or so before the trip & book fast passes for those additional days? Still deciding how many off days the kids will n

Thanks for stopping by the Disney Parks Moms Panel, Liz!

If your FastPass+ reservation window is open, that means your Walt Disney World Resort vacation is just around the corner! Building in rest days will really help your family have a good trip. Our family loves to spend some time enjoying all of the dining experiences and recreation activities there are to offer at the Disney Resort hotels. My friend Chris likes to follow the "two on, one off" rule so his family has two days in theme parks and one day out of theme parks. Our family took a trip to see Mickey with Chris and his family and this technique helped my little Mouseketeers (and the adults, too!) stay refreshed and energized throughout the entire trip!

Unfortunately, theme park tickets must be upgraded in person at the ticket windows at theme parks or water parks, the concierge desks at your Disney Resort hotel or Guest Relations at Disney Springs. So you could make your FastPass+ reservations for the initial five days of tickets your trip now, upgrade your tickets when you arrive at your hotel and then make FastPass+ reservations for any remaining days of your trip. Keep in mind that FastPass+ reservations are limited, so you may not be able to get reservations for some of the most popular attractions and events when you are booking the later days. I like to use the Disney Parks mobile app to view our plans and make and modify our FastPass+ reservations during our trip!

    T-T-F-N, ta ta for now!

Hi! I’m Crystal and I’m a wife and mommy to two little Mouseketeers. My husband and I have been enjoying Disney Parks since before we were married, and now we take our children to see Mickey and the gang as often as we can, while  managing my oldest son's food allergies. Planning is key for my family to ensure that everyone has a safe and fun trip to our favorite place and it can be just as exciting as the trip itself. I can’t wait to help you plan your next adventure there, too! Learn More About Crystal
