We have 2-3 day weekend trips booked. One in October, I'll be 30 weeks pregnant and November which I'll be 35 weeks and we will have my 2 year old with us. Any tips other than drink lots of water and rest? We will be staying at value resorts both trips.

    Hi Ann!

Thanks for stopping by the Moms Panel. I just love that you are asking a "pregnant at Walt Disney World" question, as I'm currently growing another Disney fanatic in my own belly!

At 22 weeks, I attended Star Wars Weekends with my family, and then returned again at 26 weeks. I can attest that a large baby belly won't keep you from having a magical time at Walt Disney World. While drinking lots of water and resting are two very good tips, I do have a few that I would love to share with you.

    - Stick to a food schedule. Water intake is great, but with all of the walking that we do when visiting Walt Disney World, it's all about the food. I ventured to Magic Kingdom Park with my 3 year old, and we both appreciated frequent stops to snack. Whether you pack your snacks and meals, or grab them from Quick Service stations, make sure you schedule them throughout your day.

    - Plan half days in the theme parks, instead of whole days. I'm not sure if your 2 year old is still napping, but planning half days around rest or nap time is key. It's important that we rest and give our bodies time to stop moving for a while. If you are a fan of the Fireworks shows within the theme parks, you'll want your body well-rested for your viewing pleasure later in the evening.

    - Switch out your shoes. We're carrying around extra weight through miles of magical land. By midday, your feet will get tired of the shoes you are wearing. Trust me. Carry an extra pair of shoes with you and change them out after lunch. You'll feel like a brand new princess!

    - Utilize the Child Care Centers. These are sacred hideaways for sweet babies, tired toddlers, and exhausted parents. They are quiet and provide a great space for you and your 2 year old to relax, even for a few minutes.

I hope this answered your question. If you have any more questions, please feel free to come back to the Moms Panel and ask us any time.
