Hi I have 7 day park hopper tickets that we have not used. We have a reservation set for June. Is there away to change those over to the Annual Pass before then so they do not expire? How do we add that to the reservation package? Thank you

Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel, Teresa! I am so glad to see you are planning to visit The Most Magical Place on Earth in just a few short months! It will be here before you can say, "supercalifragilisticexpialidocious!" Be sure to spend some time at Disney Springs, which has undergone a complete transformation with all new shopping and dining locations since your last visit.

So, let's talk ticketing. Upgrading a Magic Your Way ticket is very easy, but unfortunately, must be done at a ticketing window or Guest Relations location at Walt Disney World Resort. Annual Pass upgrades cannot be completed online or via phone. Most unused Magic Your Way tickets do not have an expiration date. Once used, they will expire 14 days after the date of first use. If you have promotional tickets, then yes, these may expire. My advice to you is to call a Ticketing Cast Member and provide them with more information about the tickets you hold. They will be able to let you know how these can be used and if they can indeed be upgraded.

I can certainly understand how you may want to have the tickets linked to your My Disney Experience account before your trip begins, so that you may make FastPass+ selections. You can go ahead and link the Park Hopper tickets and make those selections at the appropriate time. This will not affect your ability to later upgrade the tickets, and completing the upgrade will not cancel or otherwise affect your FastPass+ choices.

Teresa, please let us know if you have any other questions concerning this. You know we are always here to help you plan an extra magical vacation for your family. Hope to hear from you again soon!
