    Terri from MI Asked

We have 3 day Park Hopper. However, after securing our Fastpasses, it looks as though we will not have the opportunity to Park Hop because the Fastpasses are spread out through the whole day. Is it possible to change my Day Passes?

Hello, Terri! It sounds like you have a trip planned to see Mickey and his pals soon! We appreciate that you reached out to the Disney Parks Moms Panel for advice.

Unfortunately, while Guests can always upgrade their theme park tickets, they are nonrefundable and cannot be downgraded to a ticket with less entitlements. Although this is Walt Disney World's official policy, it might not be a bad idea to give Ticketing Services a call to explain your circumstances. They can be reached at (407) 566-4985 Opt. 4.

Instead, here are a few Moms Panel tips you could try. First, if you are staying at a Walt Disney World Resort hotel, consider attending Extra Magic Hours, which would allow you to spend some "bonus" time in one of the theme parks each day, outside of regular operating hours. My family loves attending Morning Extra Magic Hours. Even though this means an early wake-up call, we enjoy getting a head start on our Park touring before it opens to the regular day Guests.  Once the Extra Magic Hours end, we hop over to another Park where we have our FastPass+ selections scheduled. Epcot and Magic Kingdom Park also have Evening Extra Magic Hours, if your family consists of night owls.

I'd also suggest logging into your My Disney Experience account to see if you could reschedule some of your FastPass+ selections, so they are all more consolidated. We prefer to plan our FastPass+ attractions for the afternoon or evening, so we can enjoy our favorite rides in another Park earlier in the day.  Even though your trip is quickly approaching, there are often great FastPass + selections to be had around the 30-day mark. You may want to try and reschedule around some of the highly coveted FastPasses. For example, If you have an Avatar Flight of Passage Fast Pass+ for 2:00 PM, try to see if you can move your other two selections for Animal Kingdom Theme Park closer to that window. That way, you can free up a little time, allowing you to "hop."

Another quick tip is when we want to get to another Park in a jiffy, I like to arrange for a Minnie Van to pick us up, saving us precious time. Disney's Minnie Van Service is a ride-sharing service that works through the Lyft app. Even though it's not complimentary, it sure is convenient, and when you're at Walt Disney World Resort, time is money!

I hope these tips help and that you have a magical trip, Terri! If you need anything else, remember we're all ears! See ya' real soon.

Hi, I'm Eean from Pennsylvania!  I may have an unusual name, but my passion for Disney is not unique.  It’s amazing how many people you can find who love talking about, "The Most Magical Place On Earth!"  I'm that mom who always has her ears perked at PTO meetings, in the grocery store aisle, or at middle school basketball games waiting for an opportunity to give someone a planning tip to help make their vacation even more magical.
