I have a 5 day park hopper for my family but am only staying at a Disney World hotel for 3 days - are we able to take advantage of the Extra Magic Hours for our 5-day ticket or only on the days we are staying onsite?

Hey, Catherine! Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel and thanks so much for stopping by with your question. I absolutely love Extra Magic Hours! This is such a wonderful benefit for guests staying at a Walt Disney World Resort hotel. My family is used to getting up early every day, so we just continue that practice while on vacation and pop in to the day's designated Extra Magic Hours theme park for a head start on our pixie-dusted adventure. I find the crowds on those early mornings to usually be very reasonable and we get to fit in several rides on our favorite attractions before the park opens to all guests.

Catherine, since this is a benefit for Resort hotel guests, you will only be able to make use of the Extra Magic Hours on the days you are staying there. Note that this does include the day you check in to the Resort hotel and also the day you check out. If you are using a morning Extra Magic Hour, there will be Cast Members just past the Mickey touchpoint entrances scanning MagicBands to check for current stays. During evening Extra Magic Hours, Cast Members usually scan MagicBands at attraction entrances.

Have you made your FastPass+ selections yet? These can be made up to 60 days in advance of your check-in date. There are some attractions that see their availability go quickly, so use that 60-day selection window to your advantage! I hope this information helps you plan a magical visit to Walt Disney World Resort. Please let us know if you have any other questions.
