I have a 5-day park hopper for 12/28/11 to 1/1/12. The DisneyQuest new years eve sure sounds fun for my 16 yr old son and 14 yr old daughter. I know anywhere we go will be crowded but we have never been to DQ. But an arcade for NY eve? Thoughts?

    Hi Katrina!

All that I can tell you is that my son absolutely loves Disney Quest at Downtown Disney! He is fourteen now, but he was nine years old when we first went to Disney Quest. We always go there once or twice on each trip to Walt Disney World. In fact, my son would probably live at Disney Quest if I would let him! So I definitely would recommend enjoying Disney Quest this with your son and daughter. Disney Quest is much more than a video game arcade because it is an indoor interactive theme park with five floors of fun, video games, interactive games, virtual games, and family activities. There is a lot that you can do together.  Here is a list of some of the interactive games that you can play together:

Pirates of the Caribbean — Battle for Buccaneer Gold- a 3D virtual Pirate Ship battle
Virtual Jungle Cruise--Paddle your virtual raft on an adventure
CyberSpace Mountain-design your on digital roller coaster and ride it
Buzz Lightyear's Astroblasters – unique bumper cars
Animation Academy-- learn to draw animated characters
Mighty Ducks Pinball Slam -- battle others in a virtual pinball game
Ride the Comix--a virtual reality sword fight
Aladdin's Magic Carpet Ride--ride a virtual magic carpet

I hope that your family has a magic time on your next trip to Walt Disney World!

    Keep Dreaming Big!
