A 4-day (1 park a day) is cheaper than a 3 day park hopper. So - if I know I only plan on park hopping ONE day out of my 3 days at Disneyland - can I use 2 days of the 4-day (1 park a day) and actually go to both parks in one day?

Hello, Cristy! Thanks for stopping by the Disney Parks Moms Panel with your question!

I love that you are crunching the numbers in order to get the most out of your budget. That is an important part of any planning process! I double checked with Guest Relations, and, unfortunately, the process you describe would not be allowed. According to the theme park ticket terms and conditions, each day you use your ticket constitutes one full day of use. Since a multi-day one park per day ticket is essentially one ticket ID number that can be used for multiple days, once you enter either Disneyland Park or Disney California Adventure Park, you can only enter that same park on that day using that same ticket - no matter the number of days you have left on your multi-day ticket.

If you happen to live in the southern California area, you should know that there is a special ticket offer just for you! Southern California residents can purchase a three-day park hopper ticket for $244 that can be used until May 24, 2018 (some blackout days apply).

If you don't live in southern California, then I definitely suggest purchasing a three-day Park Hopper ticket as it is more economically friendly than purchasing a two-day one park per day ticket and a one-day Park Hopper. Park hopping at the Disneyland Resort is incredibly easy and, in my opinion, fun to do every day of your stay. Having Park Hopper tickets allows you to keep your plans flexible. You can ride attractions during the day in Disneyland Park, but then head to Carthay Circle Restaurant in Disney California Adventure Park for drinks and dinner that night, for example.

I'm certain you will find the right theme park ticket option to meet your needs. I hope you have a magical time at the Happiest Place on Earth!
