What day do the Halloween decorations go up in Magic Kingdom? I want to go in late august but I don't want to have Halloween decorations.

    Dear Victoria,

Thank you so much for stopping by to visit us here at the Disney Parks Moms Panel with your great question about planning ahead for your upcoming Walt Disney World Resort vacation!

Walt Disney World Resort wants the most guests possible to experience the magic of the seasons, and to that end the first Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party this year is in mid-August. Some Halloween decor will even go up gradually before that first party date. If you wanted to have an experience with no Halloween decor, you may want to plan your trip for early August instead.

Hope that helps with your magical planning!
