We have 3 day Disney tickets and would like to utilize riding inside the park on these days. We would also like to visit Downtown Disney. Do we have to go to DTD during the three days or can we come back on another day that we don't have tickets?

Hi Christian!  You will be pleased to know that you can enjoy the parks for three days using your three day tickets.  Downtown Disney does not require a ticket and it is a great place to go to break up the parks on a day you want to do something different.  There is great dining and shopping at Downtown Disney and often some entertainment.  There are a few young children's rides such as a small carrousel and train.  You can rent boats from the marina and can buy a ticket to ride the large helium balloon to see the best view of the entire Disney property.  Disney Quest is a four story building filled with many interactive games and activities but this does require admission.  Cirque Du Soleil is an evening show that is unbelievable and hard to describe but shouldn't be missed.  Last but certainly not least you will find a wonderful movie theater in this area.

You can certainly spend an entire day enjoying all of the Downtown Disney activities.  You can reach this destination from any Disney resort via bus or taxi cab.  Enjoy!
