We have a 4 day Disney cruise followed by a 3 Disney park trip scheduled for April 2009. Does the Disney Magical Express only go to the resorts or is there some accommodation for the cruise as well?

The Walt Disney World's Magical Express bus service and the Disney Cruise Line's ground transportation are actually two separate services.

The major difference is the cost.

WDW guests may reserve Disney's Magical Express between their Disney resort and the Orlando International Airport. This is a complimentary service.

DCL guests may reserve bus transport between the port, a resort and/or the airport, however there is a charge for this ground transportation. Currently, it is $69 per person round-trip.

You would need to purchase transportation from the airport to the port and then the port to your resort. This is considered round-trip service and would reflect the above cost. From the resort back to the airport, your family would be able to reserve the complimentary Magical Express service.

There are a few ways to keep costs down and still get to Port Canaveral! See here for some of my suggestions.

Enjoy the Disney Wonder and your visit to WDW!
