On day of departure we will have ME pickup about 10 a.m. flights at 1. We are staying at POFQ but would like to go to POR for b-fast. What time would the food court open? Also what time would both pools open? Would taking a taxi to MCO buy us extra time?

The Riverside Mill Foodcourt at the Port Orleans Riverside resort opens for breakfast at 6:00 a.m. Boatwright's, the table service restaurant at POR, is open at 7:30 a.m. for breakfast. Port Orleans French Quarter is a 5-15 minute walk from Port Orleans Riverside depending on where you are on property. It would be very easy to take a quick trip over to your sister resort for your morning meal.

The hours of the pools at WDW vary seasonally, generally the main themed pools at each resort will be open and staffed by lifeguards at either 8:00 a.m. or 9:00 a.m. The "quiet" or unthemed pools at the resorts are not staffed by lifeguards. These are generally open beginning at 6:00 a.m.

Taking a taxi to the airport would buy you about an hour. I frequently take cabs to Orlando International and usually leave WDW two hours prior to my flight. The Magical Express buses pick up guests about three hours prior to their flights. A taxi to the airport will cost approximately $60.00.

Hope you have a great trip!
