Walt Disney World Magic Kingdom Holiday

I have a 6 day base ticket and also purchased the very merry Christmas ticket, when you attend the Christmas event do you also use one of your base ticket days?

Hi, Lynne, Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! I'm delighted to receive your question about Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party! It's great to hear you are planning to attend my favorite special event at Walt Disney World Resort.

Special ticketed events at Magic Kingdom Park require the purchase of a separate ticket. If you plan on visiting Magic Kingdom Park in the morning or the afternoon the day of the party, then you will need to use a regular Theme Park Ticket. Guests hoping to stay for the party, which officially begins at 7:00 p.m., will be asked to show Cast Members roaming around the park, their special event wristband. Those who do not have one can either purchase a ticket or exit the park.

Lynne, if you only plan on attending the party, you will not need to use one of your regular theme park admission tickets. In fact, it is better to save that ticket for another day with regular park hours. Instead, you can relax at your Disney resort hotel or spend the day shopping and enjoying some delicious food at Disney Springs

Lynne, please come back with any additional questions you may have as you continue to plan your Walt Disney World Resort visit. We love to help!

    See ya real soon!

Meet the Panelist: Desiree, Peru

Hi! I'm Desiree from Lima, Peru. My family will never ever tire of visiting the Most Magical Place on Earth, even if means traveling almost 3,000 miles to do so! My husband and I love to watch the fireworks with our kids, but the best magic happens when the grandparents come along and we all feel the same age in front of Cinderella Castle! I love giving tips about different types of resorts and traveling with multigenerational groups.
