If we have a 4 day base ticket, can we use one of the days at a water park, or must they be used at one of the theme parks?

Hi, Laura! Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel and thanks for stopping by with your question. Your magical adventure is coming up very soon! It is time to do that last minute checklist - have you made all of your dining reservations? Are your FastPass+ selections complete? Have you packed your favorite Mickey ears to wear? Aaaahh! I am getting so excited for you, just thinking of all the pixie dust headed your way real soon!

Disney Theme Park Tickets come in all forms and sizes. All you have to do is decide on how much of the magic you want to experience during this trip. The base tickets grant you access to a single Walt Disney World Resort theme park on each day you hold a ticket. You can visit either Magic Kingdom Park, Epcot, Disney's Hollywood Studios, or Disney's Animal Kingdom Theme Park on each of those days. If you would like to visit more than one theme park each day, then just add on the Park Hopper option.

Now, for all the magical thrills, you can add on the Park Hopper Plus option. This option gives you access to the Disney Water Parks, the Disney Miniature Golf Courses, Disney's Oak Trail Golf Course, and the ESPN Wide World of Sports. You will have the same number of "Plus" admissions as you do theme park admissions with this type of ticket. For example, if you had a 4-Day Park Hopper Plus ticket, then you could hop between the theme parks for four total days and also visit four "Plus" locations I mentioned. That can make for supercalifragilisticexpialidocious Disney days!

If you do not plan to hop between the theme parks each day and are thinking you may just visit one of the water parks once, then I recommend you keep your current ticket and just purchase a Water Park Ticket for each member of your family. These can be purchased in advance online or upon arrival at the water park of your choice.

I hope this information helps you plan your visit this week! I hope you have a magical week and please let us know if you have any other questions!
